Mary E. Fisher, age 52, of St. Paris, OH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 8, 2021.
Born on June 5, 1968 in Dayton, Ohio, Mary was the daughter of the late Leroy Honeycutt. Her mother, Verna McIntosh Honeycutt survives in New Boston, Indiana. She married Curtis R. Fisher on August 13, 1989 and he survives in St. Paris. Together they raised two children, Gabrielle Fisher of Piqua and Al Fisher of St. Paris. She is also survived by a brother Leroy Honeycutt, and sisters Debbie Honeycutt and Jenny Avery, along with other extended family members and friends.
Mary attended Dixie High School in New Lebanon and graduated from Oakdale Christian Academy in Kentucky in 1987. She received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Miami Jacobs.
Mary enjoyed gardening, cooking, and walking her puppy Bruno. She loved watching the hummingbirds and the rain. When she wasn’t baking bread or tending to her garden, Mary was also heard playing her favorite music with all the windows open, singing and cleaning. Mary was a beacon of light to all those around her. Neighbors, friends, and family described her as a caring person always there to lend a hand or listen. Her loss is felt throughout the community.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Evergreen Cemetery, N. High Street, St. Paris, Ohio with Pastor Jeremy Spence of the First Baptist Church presiding.
