Obituary

Loretta S. Baugher, age 75, of Christiansburg, OH passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in her residence.  Born on September 8, 1946 near Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Loretta was a daughter of the late Ernest and Addie (Fannin) Gilliam. 

On May 28, 1966 she married Douglas L. Baugher and he survives in Christiansburg, OH.

Loretta is survived by three daughters:  Debra (Randy Shannon) Baugher of Piqua, Amy (Steven Dwaine) Baker of DeGraff, and Angela (Richie Hull) Baugher of Piqua. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren:  Heather (Jeremy) Estep, Jason (Brandy Jo Butts) Shannon, Nathan Baker, Nicholas (Eden Markwell) Baker, and Noah Baker; and eight great grandchildren.   She is also survived by three brothers, Fred Gilliam of Piqua, Joe (Kelly) Gilliam of Saint Paris, and Bill Gilliam of Lena. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Jean Gilliam and Cathy Emerick, and two grandsons, Joshua and Joseph Shannon. 

Loretta was a 1964 graduate of Graham High School, Saint Paris, Ohio and retired as a supervisor for K-Mart. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Pastor Ed Sollenberger of the Lena Baptist Church presiding.  Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery, Christiansburg.  There will be two hours of visitation prior to the funeral service on Friday in the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Donations in memory of Loretta may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373.  Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
