Obituary

Lawrence D. “Mose” Ceyler, age 86, of Tipp City, OH passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy, OH.
 
Born on November 29, 1935 in Miami County, Mose was one of 13 children born to the late Homer and Lucille (Baker) Ceyler.
 
Mose is survived by his long time companion, Ruth Ann Freeman of Fletcher, OH, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved like his own. He is also survived by a brother Richard Ceyler.  He was preceded in death by three brothers and eight sisters.
 
Mose attended Conover School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a lifelong member of Lena Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and in many other capacities.  He retired from Chrysler Corporation, Dayton, OH.  Mose was good at fixing all things.  He was passionate about woodworking and made beautiful furniture. 
 
Visitation and funeral services will be held all in one day on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the Lena Baptist Church, Lena, Ohio.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Ed Sollenberger presiding.  Burial will follow in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road, St. Paris, Ohio with military honors by the Veteran’s Elite Tribute Squad.
