Obituary
Daniel Caldwell, age 58, of Piqua, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in Kettering Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.
Born on May 24, 1963 in Montgomery County, Ohio, Dan was a son of the late James Caldwell. His mother, Patricia (Collins) Caldwell survives in Casstown.
Dan married Lori L. Hoover on May 5, 1984 and together they raised two children. A daughter Bethaine (Kyle) Miller of New Carlisle, Ohio, and a son Zachary who preceded him in death in 2016.
Dan was a loving grandfather to three grandchildren: Wyatt, Oliver, and Raelynn Miller. He is also survived by a sister, Kim (Jerry) Zimmerman of Christiansburg, and two brothers, Matt Caldwell of Conover and Tom (Kathleen) Caldwell of Enon, Ohio
Dan was a 1981 graduate of Miami East High School. He was employed by Cargill of Sidney, Ohio for 28 years. Dan enjoyed auctions, farming and farm shows, and spending time with his grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:30 to 12:30 a.m. in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, OH 45326.
