Michael Edgar Ford - age: 26
(March 31, 1985 to February 01, 2012 ) Resident of Belle Center, Ohio Visitation Information: Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio. Obituary: Michael Edgar Ford, age 26, of Belle Center (formerly of St. Paris) passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 as the result of a car accident in Auglaize County. Born on March 31, 1985 in Howell, Michigan, Michael was the son of Dennis William McDaniel and Pamala Conley King. He married Hilary Ann Linson on November 11, 2011 and she survives in Belle Center. He is also survived by his father and step mother, Dennis and Gail McDaniel (Rose), Brookville; his mother and step father, Pamala and Rich King of Springfield; his mother and father-in-law, John and Diana Linson of Belle Center; his maternal grandparents, Chet and Pat Conley of St. Paris; and his paternal grandmother, Martha McDaniel of Kentucky. Additional family members include his half brothers and sisters, Jack (Ashley) McDaniel, Jason, Mary, Amy and Dennis McDaniel, a step sister, Katelyn King of Springfield, a brother-in-law, Deric Linson of West Mansfield, Ohio, three aunts, Tammy (Dave) McDaniel of Rockford, IL, Cathy (Troy) Campbell of Muncie, IN and Vergie (Mark) Fietsh of Louisville, KY; two uncles Chris Conley of St. Paris and Doug McDaniel of Rockford, Ill; a niece Leila McDaniel of San Diego, CA and numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack McDaniel. Michael was a 2003 graduate of Graham High School. Upon graduation he served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 2003 – 2009. He was a full time student at the University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima where he was studying to be a diesel mechanic. Michael was a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 1533, Indian Lake and the VFW in Lima. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.

Even though I have not seen Mike since 2002 it is always sad to hear about a classmates passing. My prayers go out to Mike's family and friends.

Pam & family - I am so sorry. Very saddened by this loss. Rob and I enjoyed the time we had with Mike, especially the months he was with us in TX between the Marine Corps and moving back to Ohio. We had a blast riding motorcycles and hanging out. RIP buddy.
